25 June 2026 - 2026 UCISA Digital Capabilities and Digital Education Pulse Survey
The Digital Education and Digital Capabilities Groups have launched a Digital Education pulse survey to capture trends across the higher education sector.
About the survey
The UCISA Digital Education survey launched in 2024 as a new survey to understand the range of tools, services and practices that organisations are supporting and deploying to support digital transformation related to education. It built upon over 20 years of research on the use of the technology enhanced learning, tools and digital capabilities through the previous UCISA Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Surveys and Digital Capabilities Surveys.
For 2026, the Digital Education and Digital Capabilities Groups have launched a pulse survey to capture an updated picture across UK higher education in relation to key themes that emerged from the 2024 survey results. It uses an updated sub-set of the 2024 questions to focus on six core areas.
Completing the survey
One contact within each HE institution has been sent an invitation to complete the survey on behalf of their institution. If you aren’t sure who is completing the survey for your institution, please contact community@ucisa.ac.uk.
To assist with completing the survey, a Word version has been made available.
The project group will be presenting the findings from the survey at a range of events, and you will be able to find further information here once the report is published.
