Venues and travel

The event will be held at the EICC Edinburgh, EICC, The Exchange, Edinburgh, EH3 8EE, Scotland.

The UCISA24 Leadership Conference is coming back to the Festival City.

Edinburgh is a city of literature – it was the first city to be called the UNESCO city of Literature. It was in this city that the world’s first circulating library was established and the first-ever copy of the Encyclopaedia Britannica was published. It is the only City in the world with a train station is named after a novel, ‘Waverley‘. There is a massive gothic monument in Princes Street Gardens dedicated to Sir Walter Scott, the writer of ‘Waverley‘. As if that wasn’t bookish enough, the Edinburgh International Book Festival is one of the world’s largest public celebrations of the written word.

We are using four hotels for the Conference, vocco Edinburgh Haymarket, 46 Torphichen Street, EH3 8JB, the Mercure Edinburgh Haymarket, 38 Gardners Crescent, EH3 8DQ, the Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge, Freer Gait, EH3 9FR and Point A Edinburgh,152 Morrison St,Edinburgh EH3 8EB. All the hotels are within a ten minute walk of the EICC.

Please note: Hotels will be randomly assigned depending on how many nights are required.

There are comprehensive details on how to get to the EICC on their website.
