Frameworks and reference models

This event will consider some examples of these and compare how they are used differently in the NHS compared to HE. We will look at the Global HE Reference model which applies to a whole university and consider how this can give a shortcut to your whole organisation when considering efficient processes. Last but by no means least we will once again review the important ISO27001 framework and what this can do for your organisation.

Frameworks and reference models are ways in which we can quickly achieve specific objectives using the experience of others. Many different ones are in use within HE and through the nature in which they are adopted their use can be different in different organisations.
