21 April 2021 - new ucisa Security Group
We are delighted to announce that Dave Thornley, Head of Digital Architecture at Sheffield Hallam University, has agreed to be the inaugural Chair of the new ucisa Security Group. Widely recommended for the role, Dave’s past experience chairing the Infrastructure Group will be invaluable.
To get the group started we are hosting a Teams meeting next Monday 26 April at 4-5pm to discuss and establish Terms of Reference with Aims, Objectives, and potential initial membership for the group. If you would like to play a part in helping the sector expand best practice in security and be involved in this initial meeting and/or the group as it gets going please contact execsupport@ucisa.ac.uk to let us know.
