UCISA is please to announce the launch of the UK Higher Education Service Desk Toolkit.
It provides an overview of service desk good practice in a higher education context, and is supported by practical guidance that has been collated from across the support services community.
UCISA, Cherwell Software and the Service Desk Institute (SDI) are working together to carry out a comprehensive survey of IT Service Desks within the UK higher education sector. The survey was launched on Tuesday 15 October and will remain open until 30 November.
The outcomes from the survey will be published in a report in February 2014 and will be presented at the UCISA14 Conference in Brighton, 26 – 28 March.
