Call for exhibitors


The 2019 ucisa Support Services Conference shall be taking place on July 3 to 5 2019. Not only will we be returning to the Leeds Queens Hotel but also travelling Back to the Future of IT.


In previous years the conference has addressed the topics of what we can learn from outside higher education, the importance of people to the world of IT and more recently focusing on the people who support the service. This year we are returning to focus on the technology. How do our customers use the technology today, how will this be used in the future and importantly how will we as IT service and support providers need to adapt to meet the ever changing technology landscape.


Alongside this we expect to have some interesting discussions around the role people play in the use and support of technology. How do we find good IT people, how do we support and develop them. As well as how do we communicate with our customers and support them and their technology needs.


Delegates at the Conference will comprise of those responsible for the support of all aspects of IT within an HE institution, from IT Directors to managers responsible for 1st, 2nd and in some cases 3rd line support.  Delegates attending are influencers within their institution; having responsibility for the IT support and provision of appropriate tools and processes for evaluating and deciding on the desktop, laptop, printing and audio-visual solutions.  It is often at such events that ideas and concepts will be a key take away from the Conference resulting in follow up and future business.


We have taken feedback from delegates and exhibitors on board and increased the amount of time in the programme available for visiting the exhibition and networking at breaks and lunch. And as in previous years we hope to complement the programme with Partner Showcases - opportunities for delegates, with exhibitors, to share their experience and success in working together to deliver new value to their organisations.

NB We will require you to submit a ~200 word proposal for both the Primary keynote and Business Showcases packages (including details of your presenters) for consideration by the Conference Committee.
