Supporting the business − how can we work more closely with our organisations and how can we add value. Topics included relationship management and customer service.
We are delighted to be back at Crewe Hall which provides excellent, high quality accommodation and facilities in one of Cheshire’s most magnificent stately mansions. The hall is located in extensive grounds and beautiful Grade I listed buildings which afford a fabulous backdrop for our Conference. The venue provides us with a very flexible conference space enabling us to keep the cabaret style table layout and undertake activities in group sessions. Once again, we will aim to keep improving the format and style of the sessions so if you do have any ideas please let us know − we want all delegates to contribute. This Conference really is all about you!
Our aim is to bring together different views and opinions on how we can all work more closely with our organisations to add value and ensure that we are aligning our services to the needs of the business. We have used feedback from the 2012 and 2013 Conferences to shape the content and format and, as always, we aim to give you as much time as possible to network with peers, discuss ideas and make contributions to the Conference. We really do value input from the delegates so the popular Pecha Kucha sessions will be back and we will be asking for your thoughts and ideas on topics for the discussions with a difference. This year we will also have a panel session where delegates will be the given the opportunity to ask our team of experts for their opinions and ideas. We will be sending out an email asking for some questions nearer the time so watch this space. We have Carolyn Blunt from Real Results talking to us about her passion for customer service and what we can all do to ensure our users receive a fantastic customer experience. Sandra Whittleston from the University of Northampton will be delivering an interactive session that will explore the key concepts of IT best practice techniques using inquiry, investigation and innovation. As always, the programme will contain a wide range of business showcases and a supplier exhibition and our good friend Unemo will be popping by for a visit.
Please make sure that you regularly visit the Conference programme to see how USSC14 is taking shape − it is here you will find the most up to date news on our confirmed speakers and sessions.
We invite all staff that are involved in the delivery of Support Services to join us at the fabulous Crewe Hall and we look forward to seeing you all there.
