UCISA bursary scheme 2017 - Winners announced

The UCISA bursary scheme gives staff the opportunity to go to an event they would not usually have the opportunity to attend, then disseminate what they have learnt to others within higher and further education, including the UCISA community.

Applicants were asked to outline how the conference would benefit them personally, and their department/institution.

Candidates were also asked to demonstrate how they would share what they have learned with the UCISA community and the higher education sector and how they would publicise good practice within the UK.

Successful candidates will be blogging and Tweeting from their chosen conferences, as well as writing articles for publication, presenting at UCISA events, running seminars, and writing material for the guides.

The following candidates were selected to attend their chosen conferences:

The bursary applications were judged by David Telford (UCISA Chair), Sally Bogg (Chair, UCISA Support Services Group) and Adrian Ellison (Co-opted member) from the UCISA Executive Committee and are managed by Anna Mathews, UCISA Head of Policy and Projects.
