This webinar followed on from the VLE minimum standards – Lessons from the sector tweetchat facilitated by members of the UCISA Digital Education Group during the ALT Online Winter Conference 2017.
The development and use of VLE minimum standards polarises opinion across the UK education sector. Practice varies considerably with some standards highly prescriptive regarding the structure of sites and expected use by staff. Other approaches are more devolved, allowing adaptation to suit disciplinary needs and practices.
The conversation carried on from the tweetchat. This webinar included case studies from Matt Lingard and Clive Young about their experiences of establishing VLE standard requirements, and the opportunity to engage in online discussion with a panel from member organisations.
