Austin Court, Birmingham
Following the phenomenal success of 2015’s Spotlight on digital capabilities event, UCISA invites you to book your place for the 2016 event.
In a world of fast changing technologies, how do we enable staff and students to keep up with developments and apply them in relevant, effective and efficient ways? This event brings together key people working on staff and student digital capabilities in the sector, and includes speakers from outside HE to share lessons from other sectors. We will cover a range of topics, including: digital leadership, pedagogy and effectiveness, assistive technologies, digital identity, branding, scholarship.
The Programme will be of particular interest to those involved in supporting and promoting digital capabilities development, such as IT trainers, learning technologists, library and IT staff and educational developers.
The two-day event includes a mix of plenaries and workshops with thought leaders and practitioners from across the sector. Presentations and discussions will focus on particularly successful approaches and practices, as well as some lessons learnt. This year will see the introduction of a Question Time style panel and there will be plenty of networking opportunities.
The residential package includes all refreshments, meals, and Wednesday night’s accommodation.
The event website will build up to include latest information, slides, and streams of the presentations, so do keep checking for updates! The 2015 event was fully booked, so we recommend you book early.
