The Midland, Manchester
This year’s UCISA CISG-PCMG17 Annual Conference and Exhibition returns to the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
The Corporate Information Systems Group (CISG) is again partnering with its sister group, Project and Change Management Group (PCMG) to bring you a joint conference covering all aspects of delivering change in our organisations.
We are in times of unprecedented change and uncertainty. Change as our institutions get to grips with increasing competition, both within the UK and globally. Change as new legislation comes into force, bringing increased accountability and reporting, and requiring stronger data management in institutions. Change as technological advances allow new delivery models to be explored and a reskilling of the workforce to support the new environment. And further disruption is likely with uncertainty about the impact of Brexit and the UK’s standing in the world, questions about the sustainability of the current funding models (and even institutions themselves) and the possibility that the Government will not survive a full term. Change is now the only constant.
The Conference will be highlighting the crossovers and collaborations between the professional communities involved in change in our organisations. There will be big ideas and vision alongside university showcases providing real life examples of HE system change initiatives; sessions will provide practical takeaways and guidance. You will have excellent opportunities to consult and network with your peers and will be supported by a host of vendors who will be exhibiting their solutions and providing their thoughts and experiences to help meet the demands of these challenging times.
Delegates at this event will comprise those responsible for the development and implementation of corporate and academic systems, programme and project management and business process improvement, their staff and CIOs and IT Directors.
The annual CISG-PCMG Conference is highly popular so ensure you book early to secure your place and avoid disappointment.
The website will be updated regularly as the programme develops so please come back frequently.
