Fairmont St Andrews
It’s CISG, but not as we know it….
This year’s UCISA CISG15 Annual Conference and Exhibition returns to the award winning Fairmont St Andrews and its beautiful coastal backdrop and setting.
The Conference will examine the realisation that our services have had to evolve rapidly over the past few years to support an ever changing set of environments and new business needs emerging from an increasingly demanding user base. The traditional Corporate Information Systems portfolio is being reshaped.
Our business drivers are requiring our systems to become more integrated and we are being challenged to be innovative and to use joined up thinking approaches to improve our services and their delivery and all at a time when budgets are ever decreasing. The sharing services agenda, the introduction of SaaS and the cloud as a platform have just spiced this challenge further. Indeed, system and information security, supplier management combined with a change in behavior and expectation from our customers are just some examples where an information system unit have had to develop and grow. Our customers, students, researchers and professional staff increasingly want information at their fingertips, they want instant gratification and instant collaboration both internally and externally. They need more and more to meet their own objectives.
Our portfolio is increasing, are we ready for these changes and are we coping?
The Conference will explore data and information security, research management, vendor and supplier management and business analysis as well as exploring the demands and needs of our users. You will have excellent opportunities to consult and network with your peers and will be supported by a host of vendors who will be exhibiting their solutions and providing their thoughts and experiences to assist us in our journey.
The annual CISG Conference is highly popular so ensure you book early to secure your place and avoid disappointment.
The website will be updated regularly as the programme develops so please come back frequently.
