13 March 2013   -   15 March 2013
BT Convention Centre, Liverpool

The premier IT event for UK universities and colleges – Liverpool 2013

UCISA is delighted to be returning to the ACC, BT Convention Centre, Liverpool for the UCISA2013 Annual Management Conference.  As usual, the Conference will address your top concerns, provide an opportunity to consult with your peers and valued partners and, over three focused days, provide the best value consultancy available.

The 2012 Conference provided us with a wealth of feedback from both delegates and exhibitors on the format, shape and content of the Conference and in response to this, we have made a number of changes to ensure we achieve the best balance between professional networking time and high quality content to enable you to gain the most from your time in Liverpool.

This year, with the many and varied challenges facing both the Sector and the IT services within it, we have decided to focus each day of the Conference on a targeted theme:

Day 1 − Our business

Day 2 − Our service

Day 3 – Our future

We are currently working hard to make sure that each of the sessions meet your expectations in terms of relevance to you, your department and the issues you face both operationally and strategically.

The Programme continues to include the wide range of popular Business and University Showcases as well as the formal poster session to give you the opportunity to share some of the innovations and excellence in practice from your institution with your colleagues and peers from across the sector. Alongside this, we host the largest supplier exhibition for our sector with 60+ key partners and suppliers to the UCISA community and hope our exhibitors will again take an active part in the programme, enhancing the opportunities for all of us to exchange knowledge and gain value from the sessions on offer.

We are delighted that our closing keynote for the Conference will be given by Mark Ormrod, the former Royal Marine who received horrific injuries in a landmine explosion in Afghanistan in 2007. Mark has not only defied doctors who told him he would never walk again, but has gone on to find new challenges, from  driving a non-adapted car, to skydiving and running across America. He works full-time for the Royal Marines Association charity to raise money for veterans, the injured, and bereaved families and is testament to just what can be achieved by the human spirit with courage and determination – we strongly encourage you join us on Friday morning to hear this remarkable speaker.

Please make sure that you regularly visit the conference programme to see how Liverpool 2013 is taking shape as it’s here you’ll find the most up to date news on our confirmed speakers and sessions.

We invite you to join us at the UCISA2013 Annual Management Conference at the BT Convention Centre Liverpool and look forward to seeing you there.
