UCISA is returning to Scotland (but to Edinburgh for the first time) for our 2011 Annual Management Conference. The Conference will address your top concerns, provide an opportunity to consult with your peers and valued partners and, over three focused days, provide the best value consultancy you can get.
At our 2010 Conference, we were awaiting the outcome of a General Election and beginning to prepare our responses to the anticipated crisis in public sector funding. One of our keynote speakers, Tim Marshall, CEO, JANET(UK), predicted a 25% cut over the term of the next parliament and he was on the money. We are now in the eye of the storm, and our Conference will provide answers and solutions as well as opportunities to share the pain with colleagues who are facing the same issues. For this year’s event we have decided to focus the programme on The Marshall Plan and we have engaged an impressive array of experts to address the five key themes Tim set out so coherently in 2010:
Day One: Know your business Day Two AM: Know your numbers Day Two PM: Strive to be trusted/empower the team Day Three: See over the horizon
The programme includes a wide range of Business and University Showcases. In parallel, we will be hosting the largest supplier exhibition for our sector with over 60 key partners and suppliers to the UCISA community.
The conference twitter hashtag is #ucisa11 |
