Lancaster University and Veeam have a strong relationship spanning nearly a decade where the university has entrusted Veeam to be the backup provider for its corporate infrastructure. Lancaster is a VMware user and Veeam provides the integration to backup ~1,000 virtual machines daily and tight integration at an application level to support the rapid restore of not just whole machines but also the application level data as needed in a delegated fashion.Dr Storey will talk about the journey Lancaster has been on with Veeam, the continued close relationship and the challenges and how they were addressed and the path ahead.
