Survey of Technology Enhanced Learning

The Academic Support Group has carried out regular surveys on the use of technology enhanced learning in the higher education sector. In addition to reviewing the technology in use, the survey looks at the drivers behind the adoption of technology enhanced learning in institutions.

2016

Survey of Technology Enhanced Learning

The 2016 Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) survey is the eighth in a series of surveys carried out by UCISA’s Academic Support Group. The headline trends presented at the ALT-C Conference on 6 September 2016.

2014

Survey of Technology Enhanced Learning

The results of the 2014 survey, the seventh in the series, have now been published (Press release). The headline findings from the Report were presented at the ALT-C Conference on 2 September 2014, and subsequently at the EDUCAUSE and ascilite2014 conferences details can be found on the resources page

2012

Survey of Technology Enhanced Learning

The results of the 2012 survey, the sixth in the series, have now been published (Press release). Full results including appendices below

The outcomes from the survey were highlighted in an article in the Times Higher Education magazine on 27 September 2012. The results were presented initially at the ALT-C Conference, Manchester, 11 - 13 September 2012, and virtually by Richard Walker and Julie Voce at the Future of Learning Conference, 24 - 25 February 2014, Sydney, Australia (Paper and PowerPoint)

2010

The results of the 2010 survey, the fifth in the series, have now been published.

2008

Survey of Technology Enhanced Learning

The fourth in this series of surveys sponsored by UCISA was carried out in early 2008. Interim results from the survey were presented and discussed at the UCISA TLIG-SDG User Support Conference and the completed results were presented at the ALT-C Conference in Leeds.
