ucisa was founded in 1992 and is a registered charity. We are a not for profit member led organisation for digital practitioners within education. Via knowledge exchange and sharing, we support continuous improvement of expertise among the UK university and college community underpinning teaching, learning and research transformation through better use of digital technology and information systems.

Administrative and Events Assistant

The role is full-time with the main base at our office located at Harwell Campus, Didcot, Oxfordshire.

We are looking for an experienced Administrative and Events Assistant able to support a wide variety of workflows for our internal work duties, our membership and events. You will work closely with colleagues in a small, friendly and busy team, and you must be flexible, adaptable and able to prioritise your own workload and be willing to learn new things. There will be a requirement for travel for our UK events and conferences.

Summary of Terms and Conditions

  • Contract: Permanent full time
  • Hours per week: 37.5, Monday-Friday
  • Salary: £20,000-£24,000 per year (dependent on candidate experience and skill set
  • Leave: 30 days annual leave & 8 Bank Holidays
  • Pension: Defined Contribution scheme (6.7% employer contribution, voluntary employee contribution 0-6.7%)

 

Key role duties

As ucisa’s Administrative and Events Assistant you will work across all of our areas of administrative activities, including all membership activities and events, with the focus of the role adapting to the needs of our business activities across the year.
