Who we are

ucisa's Networking Group shares examples of good practice and raises awareness of developments in networking, IT security and data and voice telephony.

What we do

The Networking Group acts as the expert voice on networks within the wider ucisa community. The easiest way to engage with members with a common interest in networks is through the Group's mailing list which also advertises events and topics being discussed.  We contribute to ucisa’s collective view on legislative or operational matters.

Get involved

There are many different events of interest to those with a focus on Networks during the year and these are regularly advertised through the mailing list as well as within ucisa's Events listings. If you have a specific challenge, area of interest or event suggestion, please do get in touch with one of the Networking Group's committee members.  Get involved by joining the Group's mailing list which is a friendly way to find out the challenges at other organisations or just to keep in touch with your peers. If you'd like to get more actively involved, just drop one of the committee members a line.

Member Email lists

Group discussion lists are to be used by members to discuss subjects of common interest. People entitled to join the list are members of Full and Affiliate member institutions (ie not Corporate members). The lists should not be used to advertise or promote Corporate member or non-members events/services/products. These should be posted via the ucisa-announce list.
