UCISA is pleased to announce that it is continuing to support its Bursary-funded PlusOne scheme at the UCISA27 Leadership Summit.
With the growing challenge of talent management coinciding with a tightening of budgets in many institutions, UCISA is continuing to support its members by enabling delegates attending the full UCISA27 Leadership Summit programme to bring along an institutional colleague to UCISA27.
The UCISA PlusOne Bursary Scheme will enable UCISA institutional members who have booked to attend the summit by the early bird deadline to refer an institutional colleague by completing this PlusOne nomination form
Delegates can nominate a colleague from their institution for a PlusOne Bursary funded place regardless of whether they have attended previous UCISA conferences.
Previous recipients of the PlusOne scheme have said:
"My first impression of the summit was how open and honest the discussions were. It didn’t feel like a typical conference where everything is polished; here was a real willingness from speakers and attendees to share challenges as well as successes. The atmosphere was collaborative and reflective, which made it easier to engage and relate to the conversations."
“I was immediately struck by the large number of exhibitors. This created an excellent opportunity to reconnect with existing suppliers, allowing for productive discussions around our current services and how these might evolve in the future. Equally valuable was the chance to engage with new vendors whose offerings could enhance the IT services we deliver. These conversations have already sparked several ideas that are now being actively explored within our organisation.”
A limited number of places are available for this bursary funding, which is intended to support colleagues who will benefit from the experience of attending UCISA27, but whose institution would not have the budget for them to do so.
Before referring a colleague, please ensure that you discuss referral with them first and make them aware that to be eligible, they will be required to share their findings from the summit with their institutional colleagues’ post-event, as well as disseminate their experience in a format of their choice that may be published on the UCISA website and/or social media channels.
Referees must have booked their place for the full UCISA27 Leadership Summit by the deadline of 5th February 2027, and in the PlusOne nomination form, explain the reasons why their nominated colleague deserves a bursary-funded place at UCISA27.
Successful nominees will be contacted by UCISA CPD. On acceptance of the conditions of the bursary, the UCISA Events team will contact successful nominees regarding booking their full place at UCISA27.
