About the Event

From Aberdeen to Falmouth, women across the UK are driving technological innovation in education and beyond. For this year's conference we want to bring together voices from across the nation to share real stories, forge lasting connections, and break down the barriers that still exist in our industry.

You'll hear from people at all stages of their careers who are leading major initiatives, mentoring future talent, and finding innovative solutions to everyday challenges. Their stories reflect the many different paths into tech—shaped by diverse experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives—and highlight the impact of bringing your whole self to the work you do.

Topics you will hear about at WiT26:

  • Effective Communication: Discover how women at all career stages communicate complex ideas with clarity to influence stakeholders, collaborate across teams, and drive meaningful change.
  • Mentoring and Championing: Learn how women are mentoring others and driving initiatives that support career progression, with practical insights and real-world impact.
  • Real-World Applications and Problem-Solving: Explore how technology is being used to solve real challenges—from managing workloads to improving processes—through practical, tested solutions.
  • Allies in Action: Hear from male allies who are actively championing women in tech and fostering inclusive, supportive environments that benefit everyone.
  • Interactive and Engaging Sessions: Expect sessions that go beyond presentations—featuring workshops, panels, and discussions designed to spark ideas and invite participation.

Should you or a colleague have an idea in mind for presentations, workshops or a panel discussion that covers one of these topics, please complete this form by Friday 13th March 2026
