Learning Analytics: Where Are We Now?

About the Event

As a sector, we collect a lot of data related to student engagement, but how well are we using that data to inform decision making and support for students? According to the 2024 UCISA Digital Education Survey, use of learning analytics is not widespread across the sector with only 29% of responding institutions using it in 50% or more of their courses. However adoption is increasing, with 41% of responding institutions reporting that they have reviewed learning analytics solutions in the past two years.

This webinar invites participants to share experiences of their current work in relation to learning analytics. We are interested in exploring where institutions are in their learning analytics journey, from those who are just getting started to those who have embedded processes.

Participants will be able to gain an understanding of where their institutions are compared to others, and make useful connections across the sector.
