About the Event

Context and Background

UCISA represents and connects the digital, data and technology communities across UK Higher Education. Through its networks, communities and events, UCISA brings together institutional leaders, practitioners and sector partners to share knowledge, address common challenges and strengthen the digital capability of the sector.

With our current strategy (Building on Success - 2022 to 2027) nearing completion, UCISA is currently developing its Strategy for 2027 to 2032, working with Trustees, the UCISA Chairs Forum, the UCISA Team, and member institutions. The emerging strategy places emphasis on continuing to strengthen UCISA’s role as a trusted sector voice, and supporting institutions through collaboration, capability building and shared insight.

The strategy recognises that the Education sector is navigating a period of significant change - including financial pressures, rapid technological developments and increasing regulatory complexity. Addressing these challenges requires strong partnerships across the wider digital ecosystem - including with  suppliers, technology providers and other corporate stakeholders.

Why this matters for Corporate Members

“UCISA’s representation with suppliers has been invaluable, long may it continue” (Quote from Open Members’ Session on 12th March 2026)

UCISA values the role that Corporate Members play in supporting the digital ecosystem across the Education sector. Through innovation, expertise and collaboration with institutions, suppliers help universities deliver the systems, infrastructure and services that underpin modern Education.

Therefore, as the strategy develops, we are providing opportunities for Corporate Members to:

  • Hear directly about the strategic direction and priorities
  • Understand emerging sector themes and areas of focus
  • Understand the benefits of working in partnership with UCISA to support shared learning, and responsible innovation - ensuring long-term sustainability of the sector.

What we are asking of you

With the facilitation support of Fola Ikpehai from SUMS Consulting, this session is focused on information sharing and raising awareness, helping Corporate Members understand how UCISA intends to support the sector - and how suppliers can contribute constructively to that journey through alignment of their initiatives, insight and expertise.

We encourage you to attend.
