As cyber threats continue to evolve, institutions are rethinking how to deliver engaging, impactful, and future focused education that prepares students to navigate an increasingly complex digital landscape.

The UCISA Security Community invites you to a dynamic webinar showcasing innovative approaches to cyber security awareness and training across higher education.

This session will highlight real-world examples from across the sector, exploring how universities are embedding cyber awareness into teaching and campus culture Speakers will share practical insights into the design and delivery of their initiatives, as well as the challenges encountered, and the measurable impact achieved.

Key themes will include:

  • Student led initiatives, including social media campaigns and podcasts, that promote a shared responsibility for cyber security
  • The use of interactive learning experiences such as tabletop exercises, social engineering roleplay, hackathons, and escape rooms
  • Collaborative work with external partners, including the Metropolitan Police and the City of London Police, to raise awareness of fraud, scams, and online threats
  • The development and implementation of a compulsory cyber security course undertaken by 40,000 students
