About the Event

The UCISA Security Community is running a webinar to showcase what is happening across the sector with cyber security awareness and training for students.

As the threat landscape evolves, so does the need for effective, engaging, and forward‑thinking cyber security education. We would like to highlight the great work happening across higher education and are very keen to hear from colleagues who are creating and embedding training resources for their students, that address common cyber and social engineering threats.

Are you creating your own resources? Are you working with a partner? How are you getting engagement, and how are you reporting on the impact of this activity.

We would love for you to share what you are doing in this space with your students:

  • How you are preparing students to understand and respond to cyber security challenges.
  • New or creative approaches to embedding cyber awareness across courses or disciplines.
  • Practical learning experiences such as labs, simulations, challenges, or partnerships with industry.
  • Evidence or examples of how your approach is making a real difference for your students.
  • Initiatives to build a strong cyber‑aware culture on campus.

We are looking for 3–4 volunteers to give a 10–15 minute presentation, followed by a short Q&A. If you would be interested in speaking at this event, please complete this short form. The deadline to submit your proposal is Friday 8th May.
