Sustainable UX: The Next Step Beyond User-Centred Design

About the Event
This session will explore sustainable UX and its three dimensions - Exploring ecological, economic, and social perspectives (People, Planet, Profit) as essential pillars of sustainable design. You’ll learn ways to move from user-centred to life-centred design, expanding the perspective from individual users to the wider context of people, planet, and society, representing the next generation of UX methodology. Monika will introduce the concept of slow UX – a new approach developed in her book that reframes design through sustainability and intentionality (according to „slow food" or "slow fashion"), she’ll also share practical applications and demonstrate tools like non-human personas and future-ready journey mapping to design with long-term sustainability in mind.
