The Rise and Fall and Rise of AR

Jon Weinel is a London based artist, writer, and researcher whose main expertise is in electronic music and computer art. Jon has held various academic posts in the UK and Denmark. He is a Full Professional Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS), belongs to the Computer Arts Society specialist interest group, and is a co-chair and proceedings editor for the EVA London (Electronic Visualisation and the Arts) conference.

Dr Marianne Markowski: has been a Research Fellow at the University of Greenwich for over eight years. Her research interests are co-design (participatory research approaches), intergenerational engagement, technology, education and the healthcare workforce. Dr Markowski champions the user experience and lived experience in her research, in particular with forthcoming projects with the XR lab. Before returning to academia in 2016 Dr Markowski worked for over 10 years in User Experience Design as a UX Researcher and Accessibility Consultant. She worked on agency and client side in projects for banking, telecoms, retail, charity and government.
