About the Event

Gone are the days when students plan to do their work in the library during “normal” university hours. They want the flexibility of being able to access the necessary services, systems and applications at any time during the day, from any location and from a variety of devices. This causes University IT teams a headache in terms of management of providing consistent user experience for access to the variety of systems and massively increases the attack surface for the university. As such more and more HE institutions are looking at virtual desktops as an answer to both of these problems.

During this session you will hear from Buckinghamshire New University, Robert Gordon University and Cranfield University how Nutanix can be leveraged to create that consistent, scalable and secure environment for all of your student desktops. In addition, you will see a hands on demonstration of the solution and how it can be used in a Hybrid Multicloud environment.
