Improving Online Access Overseas: new models for supporting international students

Institutions have emphasised how important online access is for students based offshore. Following on from the hugely successful Improving Online Access in China webinar in June, ucisa and Jisc have convened another free panel session event for member institutions.

In this ucisa/Jisc joint online panel session, institutions will share:

  • what key lessons they have learned to date in the delivery of online learning to international overseas students to share with the sector;
  • based on this, new ways that they plan to deliver education; and
  • what challenges they foresee.

We’ll be using experiences from the Jisc Pilot 0 and Pilot+ programmes as a starting point for exploring delivering off campus online access across the world. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions of the panel.
