About the Event

The Challenge for Education

In March Covid-19 suddenly taught education institutions that there were other ways of working than congregating in rooms for meetings and teaching. Collaboration software that most IT departments were using were suddenly taken up by the whole organisation and their potential started to be understood. This session looks at the changes that most of us have seen through the lens of Microsoft Teams. We will explore how Teams became used for teaching and the benefits seen through this for one of our member organisations. We will hear from Microsoft about how Teams has changed during the past 6 months, and how it will continue to change with many education focused future evolutions on the horizon. Finally, we will hear about a study into the future of education and how that may affect us all.
