Women from the Higher Education sector achieved unparalleled success at last night’s Women in IT Awards, winning in three categories.
The first success of the evening was Floriana Molone, Head of Customer Services at the London School of Economics and Political Science, who won the Future CIO category. Further success came in the Business Role Model of the Year category with Sally Bogg, Head of End User Services at Leeds Beckett University and Chair of UCISA’s Support Services Group, taking the Award. The evening was rounded off with further Higher Education success as Alison Davis, CIO at the Francis Crick Institute won the CIO of the Year Award. Claire Priestley, Director of IT Services at City, University of London, was also nominated in the CIO of the Year category.
In addition to the success enjoyed by the HE sector, Sam Mudd, Managing Director of UCISA Corporate Members Phoenix Software Ltd, won the Business Leader of the Year Award
