UCISA bursary scheme 2015 - Winners announced

Following on from the success of the 21st Anniversary bursary scheme last year, a further award scheme has been created for 2015. The aim of the scheme to give UCISA members the opportunity to go to an event they would not usually have the opportunity to attend, then disseminate what they have learnt to the UCISA community.

Candidates were asked to demonstrate how they would share what they have learned with the UCISA community, how they would publicise best practice and to consider how the topics raised in UCISA’s Strategic Challenges publication link to their chosen conference programme.

Successful candidates will be blogging and Tweeting from their chosen conferences, as well as writing articles for publication, presenting at UCISA events, running seminars, and writing material for the guides.

The following candidates were selected to attend their chosen conferences:

The bursary applications were judged by John Cartwright (UCISA Chair), Heidi Fraser-Krauss (Vice-Chair) and Adrian Ellison (UCISA Secretary) from the UCISA Executive Committee and are managed by Anna Mathews, UCISA Head of Policy and Projects.
