HEITS data collection underway

The data collection for the 2007/8 HEITS exercise is now underway.

The statistics are used by suppliers to get a feel for trends within the sector, by government departments as input to help inform policy and by many institutions to compare their provision with other institutions. They have also been recognised as the only collection of statistics on Higher Education IT by the Office of National Statistics.

Given that the statistics have been recognised nationally, institutions are encouraged to complete this year’s statistics exercise.

The closing date for completion is Friday 1 May.
