Top concerns 2008/9 - comparison with 2006/7 


This is the fourth Top Concerns survey UCISA has carried out. A comparison with the 2006-7 overall results of the UCISA Top Concerns survey is presented below:

The top two concerns (Funding and sustainable resourcing of IT and IT strategy and planning) remain the same. Organisational change and process improvement is a new highly ranked concern for the 2008-9 survey. Business Systems and Service Availability remain at approximately the same relative position. "Environmentally friendly" computing / energy efficiency is now in the Top-ten as are IT service quality and Data centres. E-learning has a lower ranking in the 2008-9 survey but is still in the Top-ten. Disaster recovery and Identity Management are just outside the “top ten” in the 2008-9 results.
