Venue and Directions

The Social Media for Training workshop will be held at the new MediaCityUK campus of the University of Salford, which opened in October 2011, adjacent to the new BBC facilities in Salford Quays.  

To allow you to make the most of your visit we are arranging guided tours of both the University of Salford and the BBC facilities (provisional).  For more details on these optional extras see the Social Events page.

How to get to there

MediaCityUK is close to one of the most comprehensive transport infrastructures in the country, with excellent public transport links. When travelling to MediaCityUK please try to use public transport wherever possible.  For details of how to get there by train, tram, bus or car see the MediaCityUK location page on the University of Salford website.
