Communicating in the workplace

24 May 2011
Austin Court, Birmingham

Few skills are as important as effective communications. Whether listening to instructions, expressing an opinion, offering expert guidance or in any number of other situations. Your effectiveness in your career, your place in the team and your prospects for promotion are all influenced by how well you communicate with others.

In this one day workshop you will discover or develop techniques for communicating face to face or remotely with one or many people. These practical techniques are simple to learn and take very little effort to use but can make a real difference to how others regard you in your workplace.

Techniques will be demonstrated and explained with a mixture of examples, exercises and instruction by an experienced staff developer with a technical background and a thorough knowledge of the course material.
