Location and travel

The University of East Anglia is easily reached by road, rail and air. It is particularly well served by the rapidly expanding Norwich International Airport and is only 100 minutes by train from London. The city is a major regional centre that attracts many thousands of visitors each week to enjoy shopping and social activities in the city.

UEA is located on the south-west side of the city (virtually at the end of the main A11 from London). Despite its parkland setting it is just two miles from the city and has regular bus services throughout the day and night.

The training room is in the Learning and Resource Centre (LaRC), part of the newly expanded library building located in the centre of the campus.

Participant accomodation comprises en-suite rooms in the UEA Conferences Guest Suite located on campus in easy reach of the many facilities such as banks, shops and the student bar.
