A Workshop for suppliers of IT products and services to HE

Supplying IT related products and services to the UK Higher Education (HE) community is not always straightforward. HE Institutions vary in size and scope, and are not simply providers of student education. They can also operate as multi-million pound businesses, high-powered research centres and charitable organisations – each with different requirements for hardware, software, support and consultancy. An understanding of this unique business environment is key to establishing a successful supplier/purchaser relationship.

Developed by Netskills for the UCISA Procurement Group, this workshop considers the factors that influence these relationships and the framework mechanisms that govern them.

Who is this workshop for?

Anyone from an IT related business seeking to engage more effectively with the HE sector will benefit from this event. It is also suitable for staff at companies with established HE links who are looking to improve their knowledge of the sector – in particular new staff, or those who are used to working in other business areas.
