Research – an HE IT priority for excellence in integration and systems?

Research Management systems, Institutional Repositories, a Common Research Information System – are any of these a priority or should be a priority for HE institutions aspiring to Research Excellence?

Whether it is controlling the costs, the management of research, approvals of research applications, institutional repositories, and the challenges of REF and especially pulling all of these together in one package, this seminar tries to answer some of the questions.

As well as drawing on the experiences, plans and systems around the HE sector the seminar will try to consider future directions and brief the audience on what is available and what can be shared.

Who is the seminar for?

Staff responsible for the strategic directions for the management of research and outputs within HE, those developing or supporting such systems, and anyone who wants to know what initiatives are happening across the sector and beyond.
