It is on the corner of George Street and Montrose Street.  Whilst the hotel is very close to the event, a 5 minute walk, it is all uphill.

For Parking: There is a NCP Car Park on the Campus. Enter via Montrose Street.

To go from the car park to the John Anderson Building on foot,  turn right onto Montrose Street, then go up to Rottenrow and turn right. Go along to the end of Rottenrow, cross North Portland Street and then continue along the footpath besides the Architecture Building. At the end of the Architecture Building turn right and then go across the bridge on the left which leads to level 4 of the John Anderson Building. They then just need to go down the stairs.

It is about five to ten minutes walk from the Campus.

For Public Transport:

The University right in the city centre.

Glasgow has two mainline stations

Glasgow Queen Street Station. The station for trains coming in from Edinburgh. It is about a five to ten minute walk to the John Anderson Building.

Glasgow Central Station station for the trains from London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. It is about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the John Anderson Building.

The nearest airport is Glasgow 

A taxi costs about £20 to travel to the city centre. Bus or taxi to the nearby Paisley Gilmore Street Station and a train to Glasgow Central. During the day there are 8 trains an hour from Paisley to Glasgow taking about ten to fifteen minutes. There is a bus that goes into the city centre stopping at both Glasgow Central and Queen Street Stations, leaving every 10 minutes and take 15 minutes

Last point:

The University is it is built on the side of a hill. Anyone with mobility difficulties might find it easier to take a taxi from the hotel or the stations despite the short distance.
