Corporate Information Systems Group (CISG)

A group drawing on the experience and shared knowledge of staff in the areas of Business and Corporate Information Systems

UCISA-CISG comprises one person representing Corporate Information Systems interests for each UK Higher Education Institution that is a member of the Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association (UCISA). That person is nominated by the member institution either at the point of initial UCISA membership, or when renewing membership, and would normally be the most senior member of staff who is specifically tasked with managing Administrative and/or Corporate Information Systems within the member institution.

The AGM of the Group, normally held during an annual CISG Conference, elects a new UCISA-CISG Committee to serve for the following year, and where elections require a ballot, each member UCISA institution represented at the AGM is entitled to cast one ballot paper.

The Annual Conference for 2010 will be held in Brighton. You can still view last years presentations held in St. Andrews.

The Group carried out a survey of all UCISA member institutions in 2009 to establish a picture of the corporate information systems in use across the sector; the results of the 2009 survey, including a new graphical version are now available here.
