Frequently asked questions
This is because as soon as you start breaking the discounted 3-day residential package, the cost increases (ie 3 day delegate rates and 2 dinners costs more than the package). So, our advice is to book the package.
This is because the venue still charges us the full DDR whether or not we use the room, as they cannot sell ½ days.
There are two reasons for this:
This is because most chain hotels worldwide contract their wifi provision out to large telecoms companies to provide and manage this facility so the hotel has no control over the charging. However this year, at Celtic Manor, Newport, there is free wifi throughout the hotel so no additional charge. Why does the hotel require a swipe of a credit card on check in? Hotels request a credit card authorisation or cash deposit for incidental charges for all guests on arrival. This is to cover guests leaving without paying additional charges, as well as for potential damage. UCISA2012
