Microsoft are showcasing Microsoft Lync with The Open University, who are the largest deployed HE site in the UK. The OU have replaced an ageing PBX switch and now use Lync for over 4,000 staff across multiple locations. A project is also now underway to extend its use for the Call Centre. They will help you to understand the reasons Lync was chosen, the process that they applied to ensure a successful adoption and explain the very significant cost savings made as a result.
