UCISA 2009 Conference

UCISA is delighted to have secured the brand new Liverpool BT Convention Centre for its 2009 Annual Management Conference. The Conference committee have put together a programme which aims to address your top concerns, help you solve problems, provide opportunities to consult and meet with your peers and, over the three focused days, provide the best value consultancy you can get!

An impressive array of experts address the key themes around your top concerns including Business Showcases, University Showcases and keynote speakers from the UK and overseas. In parallel, we will be hosting the largest supplier exhibition for our sector. This will include a formal conference poster session sharing best practice.

We are delighted that the Conference will be opened by Professor Steve Kenny, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Development) of Liverpool John Moores University. We have a fantastic social programme that includes dinner at the newly refurbished St George’s Hall with John Sergeant, political commentator, elder statesman of the BBC and star of Strictly Come Dancing!

It's now traditional to have an uplifting finish to the event and this year is no exception. We are delighted that Robin Seiger is able to join us. Robin's early career included a stint as a successful comedy writer. It was, however, ten years ago, after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease, that Robin became fascinated by the human potential, success, well being and peak performance.

Robin is a fantastic conference motivational speaker because he inspires people to believe that all of these conditions are achievable and are within the reach of those willing to make the commitment.
