UCISA2006 Annual Management Conference
8 March 2006
- 10 March 2006 The Winter Gardens, Blackpool
It's fun and frolics in Blackpool this year! Oh, and there's some IT as well – we'll take a look at the future of e-learning and the contribution made to this by technology; give you a user view of the services that you provide; look at some key topics such as managed services; take a look at third world computing; and hear an environmentalist view of our activities. Yes, it's all about perspectives this year — looking at IT from different viewpoints, other than as a provider, which should prove to be a source of new insights and ideas. We are experimenting with a round table format for the sessions, rather than the usual theatre style, and we hope that this gives you more opportunity to mingle with other delegates. As usual, we've tried to provide a variety of sessions with something for everyone. In addition to the presentations, we have the usual excellent suppliers exhibition lined up for you and sessions from some of our sponsoring suppliers. Feedback from 2005 asked for better coffee so we've specified that to our caterers! We will have extensive wireless access at the Winter Gardens and plan to use this for some audience interaction with the speakers. We sincerely hope that you get a great deal from the Conference and don't forget to let us know what you would like for the 2007 event!
