HEFCE issues guidance on student completion

HEFCE has set out information and guidance on the way it counts students for teaching funding purposes and in particular, how it defines completion. A number of institutions are having to pay back funds as a result of misinterpreting what was meant by completion, thereby returning too many students as 'completed'.
