*Reacting to challenging times* Only one thing is certain, the future financial climate looks to be very challenging for both HE and FE sectors. How can we react to these challenges? How can we do more with less? Do shared services, cloud services, service oriented architectures − flexible service delivery provide an answer? Can we learn from each other or from other sectors?
This year's UCISA-CISG Conference aims to help with these challenges. The Conference will provide the usual opportunities to consult and meet with your peers, and also to meet with interested vendors within the sector. This year's Conference venue is the Hilton Brighton Metropole. The hotel is superbly located on the seafront right in the heart of the city. Originally built in 1890, the building was designed by Alfred Waterhouse, the architect of University College in London and the Natural History Museum. Modern refurbishments have now included the provision of spa facilities.
