Business Intelligence: Technology and Outcomes10 February 2010 |

| BI and its associated issues have been discussed in the HE sector for some time now. But how much have we achieved for our institutions in this time and how has the technology evolved to support the ever more pressing information needs in the sector?
This seminar aims to take stock of the current situation with a set of contrasting views and perspectives. The approach is based on two themes: 2. Technology options – not proposing product ‘X’ or product ‘Y’ but considering the added value provided by traditional BI vendors against the low headline costs provided by commodity technology or the agility of products emerging from outside the mainstream. |
