It examines the logic of some of the concepts which underpin the technology and what they will mean for the average college or university and draws attention to some of the key issues to be considered before an implementation is even considered. Information matters Sarah Wickham, University of Huddersfield Sarah will examine the persistent drivers for change in improving the management of information, and the contribution of EDRMS to information management. She will consider the change management issues inherent in EDRMS projects drawing on her experience at the University of Huddersfield and in local government. Towards Knowledge Management: EMC after the first year Will Miller, University College London In late 2007, UCL signed with Dell as prime contractor to install EMC. This was after a five year search for a supplier, and the second time an EDRM company had been signed. At the end of 2008, UCL will have completed two pilot projects, but how much further must it go to come close to the holy grail of institutional knowledge management?
