UCISA2007 Annual Management Conference
28 March 2007
- 30 March 2007 Novotel London West Hotel, Hammersmith
The UCISA2007 Management Conference features sessions on engaging our students, innovation, emerging technologies, and leadership. All key topics in a higher education sector that is becoming more competitive with students that increasingly see themselves as customers, and customers who are more technology savvy than ever before. What technologies are around the corner, and further out? What are our students and staff really doing with IT? What are the JISC investing in just now? What are the leading ideas on learning space, and the impact on our services? And how can we ensure that our IT activities are environmentally friendly and sustainable?
This year's Conference has leading thinkers and practitioners in each of these areas giving us their insights to help us make IT serve our institutions most effectively. In addition to the presentations the Conference has the usual level of participation by suppliers in both the exhibition and in supplier sessions. We also have a great trip out planned for the Wednesday evening and, of course, the Conference Dinner. The feedback from Blackpool was very positive, except for the comments on the coffee, so we'll try and get even that right this year!
