2010 Staff Development Best Practice Award 

This year’s Staff Development Group Best Practice Award theme is:

“Doing More with Less”

The award aims to focus on using staff development opportunities provided within the everyday life of an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team in member institutions. We are particularly interested in receiving submissions that clearly demonstrate efforts that have delivered innovative solutions in an era of “budgetary constraints combined with increasing user demands for ICT services”. The focus must be on “end-user benefits” associated with staff development and not specifically upon the successful completion of a particular piece of work. In particular, references to your institution’s strategic goals or equivalent corporate statement will strengthen your submission.

The winner of the 2010 Award is the University of Nottingham.
The submission from the University of Exeter was highly commended.
